Qualified Referee, looking to join the Society?

If you’re already a qualified and/or experienced rugby referee, please consider joining our society. All official North Mids RFU fixtures are only refereed by Society members. So apart from being a great way to get lots of games, becoming a member of a refereeing Society is a fantastic opportunity in many other ways. Joining the society offers:

• Advancement through the refereeing grades
• Application for the development squad along with one-to-one coaching & mentoring
• In-season reviews through our watchers / developers
• Weekday fixtures for Schools & Universities
• Weekend fixtures covering Senior Mens / Ladies and youth competitions
• A great way to transition from playing to refereeing
• Regular training and development days

• RFU International ticket ballot
• Fitness regimes and regular testing
• A huge pool of advice and tips available from fellow members
• Become a ‘Referee Developer’ (see our separate page) and help other referees in their development

The current subscription to join the society is £25 paid annually on or around the 1st July, exemptions are available for individuals in full time education.
