Friday Bulletin, 16 December. 2022: it’s a wrap!

Short and sweet…

Just one item in this, the final bulletin of 2022, and another weather-related reminder to referees: If after accepting your appointment the club notify you that your game is off due to the weather or any other event, please ensure you let the appropriate appointments officer know via text or email and copy our treasurer (finance@northmidsrefs.co.uk).

It’s important that cancelled games are registered as such on WTR. If they are not the system assumes the game took place and the club are subsequently issued with a Match Fee invoice. The club then complain to the Society, and creates additional paperwork for our hardworking treasurer!

Clubs have also been reminded that they should also notify the Society as well as the appointed referee. 

If your game has an advisor / coach appointed make sure you also let them know of the cancellation!
