North Midlands Society of Rugby Football Referees: Est. 1920
With just a week to go before the main season commences, we hope you’re all fighting fit and raring to go (and have spend countless hours revising those new law variations..!)
Referee meet-up
A Reminder that there is a referee training meeting at Dudley Kingswinford RFC on Tuesday 30 August at 7pm for a 7.30 start, to cover some important pre-season matters. Please make every effort to attend, you never know what you might learn!
Referee Developers/Reviewers are also requested by our Referee Development Officer Trish to attend as there will also be some important and relevant information provided to them.
Pre-season games
A last reminder that all games up to and including 31 August are covered by the summer rugby expense policy, which means that all expenses must be negotiated with, and paid by, the host club directly to the referee. From 1st September inclusive, all games will be expensed in the normal way via Who’s The Ref.
Kings Norton RFC
KNRFC celebrate their Centenary season in 2022-23, and the Society’s Mike Spencer has been invited to speak at a club function as part of these celebrations. If anyone has any amusing or interesting anecdotes about the club, please contact Mike Spencer directly (his details are to be found on our Appointments Team page)
