A message from our Finance Director:

End of Season Match Day Travel Expenses Referee / Advisors and Summer Rugby

Please read this carefully to avoid any problems.

Thank you all for your patience. Although still far from 100% following my illness I am going to try and pay all expenses before the 31st May, which is a VERY tight timetable: –

All Match Day travel claims MUST be with me by Tuesday 24th May. Any received after this date may miss the payment date.

Payment will be on 30th /31st May – all being well.   

Guidance on how to complete and submit your match day travel claim can be found in the ‘Support Hub’ in WTR. Click ‘Officials Support Hub’ and then Core Functionality and you will find the information at the bottom of this section.

Claims should include ALL matches up to the end of the official season which you have not yet claimed

Reimbursement

I refund all expenses claims through the online banking facility the society uses. It will also ensure that you receive your money in a timelier manner than if I have to prepare lots of cheques and address individual envelopes and then post them.

Where I already have this information, I will arrange reimbursement to your nominated account.

HOWEVER: –

IF YOU HAVE MOVED TO A NEW BANK YOU WILL NEED TO LET ME KNOW YOUR NEW ACCOUNT DETAILS.

LIKEWISE, IF YOU ARE A NEW MEMBER WHO HAS NOT ALREADY SENT THIS INFORMATION TO ME CAN YOU DO SO.

In both cases, please email me finance@northmidsrefs.co.uk with your account details before 27th May.

If you prefer to receive a cheque this will be sent to the address that you have registered on WTR, hopefully before the end of July.

ONE FINAL POINT PLEASE TAKE CARE AND DOUBLE, NO TRIPLE, CHECK THAT THE INFORMATION ON YOUR CLAIM IS 100% CORRECT. I do audit a selection of claims to ensure they are correct

Summer Rugby

We are now in Summer Rugby mode. This means that travel expenses for ANY games you referee over the coming months must be claimed from the club or tournament hosts – NOT THE SOCIETY. Even it the appointment is via WTR the Society will not be responsible for your travel expenses.
