Geoff Murch R.I.P
It is with great sadness that I have to tell you that Geoff has passed away. He died peacefully at his home last Friday.
Geoff was a long standing member of the Society and more recently a watcher for the us and the Federation. He could often be found at one of his favourite clubs, Veseyans RFC.
Geoff always seemed to have a smile on his face and just was good company, a proper rugby man.
Condolences have been sent to his family.
Details of his funeral have still to be settled.
Geoff, you will be missed.

This is indeed a sad day – I came across Geoff on many occasions while I was geographically based in the North Mids (I have been away now for about four years, so my connections are now somewhat disconnections!)
A lovely man, and always ready to have a natter about rugby as well as other matters.
RIP Geoff. I hope you didn’t suffer much before your passing.

Sorry to hear of Geoff’s passing Another stalwart has been lost to Rugby and, indeed, refereeing. I do hope that ,Covid permitting, we can give him the send off that is his due after many long years of service. May he rest in peace.. Steve Hindson
A true gentleman with a dry sense of humour. He was my Mr. Reliable in the 90s when doing mid week games over many seasons. He will be missed by all who knew him.
