Dave Howgate R.I.P.

It is with great sadness that I have to tell you that Dave Howgate passed away last weekend after a long battle with various illnesses.

Dave was best known in the last views years as a Society watcher. Those referees who he watched will remember his frustration at not seeing the ball going in straight at the scrum. Get it in straight and you were well on your way to a good report.

A real character, he will be sadly missed.
