North Midlands Society of Rugby Football Referees: Est. 1920
At the Training day on 18th August, kit kindly donated by Mike Patz and James Minards, was sold off and the money forwarded to the Doddie Weir fund. Below is a copy of the letter thanking the Society.
I am delighted to confirm receipt of the £170 donation from the North Midlands Society of Rugby Football Referees following the sale of unused kit.
Please keep an eye on our website’s News section for details of how we are investing our funds into research and to help those affected by MND. The Foundation got its Charitable status at the end of October ’17 and we have to date funded or pledged just less than £4.0m to various institutions and organisations.
Doddie continues to show huge fortitude. I believe somebody said to him there are no drugs to help MND sufferers just positivity, which he has in bucket loads. Long may it continue.
The funds raised will help us achieve our goals. Thank you again for your support and encouragement; Doddie along with his family and Trustees are determined that together we will make a difference.
Kind regards
Jim Robertson
