The following important messages have been passed down from the RFU.
- Please reinforce the guidelines on Referees being involved in Inter Club activity – some evidence from Public Health England in the North East suggests that the increase in infection rates is attributable to Community grassroots Sport. Whilst we would not want to limit the involvement of Referees in the R4R inter club activity (and hopefully Societies are broadly encouraging this) but we need to ensure that they are as far as possible restricting their presence to the same home club
