Society Runs First Ever Young Whistlers Course in the North Midlands

Posted by
Over the recent school half term the Society ran two Young Whistlers Courses, one at Camp Hill RFC and the other at Telford RFC.
Thirty nine young people (14-18) attended the two courses and twenty three have now joined the Society and are ready to have a go at refereeing. Initially, they will be encouraged to start within their own clubs, after that local clubs and then hopefully Society appointments.
If you are at a club and find out there is a young whistler there please speak to them and help them if necessary, you may even be able to get them to run touch for you which would be a great experience for them.
